Henry Smith Certificate

Henry Smith of Mt Templeton, was deeply involved in the Mt Templeton Wesleyan Church. In the course of 19 years he was a teacher and then Superintendant of the Sunday School. In 1892 the Minister and officers of the Sunday School expressed their appreciation by giving him this illuminated Address.

Dear Sir and Brother,


The Teachers, Parents, Scholars and Friends of the Mount Templeton Wesleyan Sunday School beg your acceptance of this Address as a small token of the esteem and affection in which you are held by them.

During the whole time that you have been connected with the School, extending over a period of nineteen years, thirteen of which you have spent in the capacity of Superintendant, and by your Christian bearing, and unfailing zeal in promoting the best interests of the School work for the love of Christ's children, have won the universal esteem and respect of all with whom you have been brought into contact.

We cannot allow this Anniversary season to pass without expressing the high appreciation we have for you, hoping that you may be spared to labour with us for many years, and earnestly pray that God may abundantly bless you and yours, and at last call you to a higher reward in his Kingdom.
