How to use the Wagin Cemetery site
This page lets you find people and grave sites, explore each cemetery section, and print maps or lists.
1. Choose a cemetery section
Move your mouse over the cemetery overview map at the top of the page. A section will highlight. Click the section to load its grave-site map below.
2. Search for a person or grave
Use the Search box, it searches each charactor as it is entered, for names, grave sites, sections, status and other cemetery information. Press Clear Search to return to the normal section view.
3. To view a grave after a search
After loading a section, click in the grave square "Show Grave" to see the that grave, it will then show the grave high lighted with a red square around the grave site and show the available details for the people buried there.
4. To view a grave
After clicking a section in the cemetery picture, click in the actual grave square, it will then high light that grave with a red square and show the available details for that grave site.
5. Grave-site colours
The colours on the map help show the status of each grave. The map itself is the best guide to the current cemetery information; reserved names are kept private on this public page.
6. Print a map or list
Press Print Layout or List to print or export the selected section. Options include the normal grave-site map, lists and the High-Resolution Section Map PNG. Where available, Add Legend and summary adds extra information to the output.
7. Other information
Statistics shows cemetery totals and Burial Register provides the public burial register.
Tip: If you are unsure where to begin, search for a surname first, then select the matching grave or cemetery section.
